my band has used the smoke machine based on older style. is a manual operation and although it works, pumps out great smoke that dissipated quickly enough. not to mention the base oil can sometimes trigger smoke detectors. The Chauvet Hurricane 2 Haze was the rig that I was looking for. is awesome! It is the basis of water and mist (haze) is much more uniform across the stage. is DMX controlled (manual operation too) that allows my light and sound engineer at the control
